The injections include a unique formulation of collagen (bovine) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres. Your Bellafill Injection Appointment
A month before your appointment, your doctor will conduct an allergy test to check that you are not allergic to bovine collagen. On the day of your appointment, you can expect a treatment session that lasts 15 to 20 minutes with sensitivity in the treated areas for up to 24 hours after.
A follow-up treatment session may be necessary for full correction and will be performed between 3 and 6 weeks after the initial appointment.
During your appointment, small amounts of Bellafill will be injected into the target areas. You will experience immediate effects, and the results will continue to develop over the course of a few months as your body creates new collagen.
