Dr. Max Grishkevich
Medical Director-Internal Medicine & Founder
Dr. Grishkevich is the Medical Director and Founder of VIP MediSpa, where he leads a team dedicated to delivering advanced, results-driven care. A respected aesthetic physician and member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, he combines medical expertise with a passion for helping patients look as vibrant and confident as they feel.
Dr. Grishkevich earned his medical degree with honors from the Moscow Medical Academy and completed his internship and residency at the Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia.
He has received advanced training and certification in every clinical treatment and procedure offered at VIP MediSpa and maintains an active affiliation with Adventist Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.
Known for his commitment to achieving natural, rejuvenating results, Dr. Grishkevich provides each patient with a customized treatment plan designed to enhance their appearance and confidence.
Beyond his medical career, Dr. Grishkevich serves as Senior Pastor at his local church and was recognized as Volunteer of the Year by Multnomah County in 2006 for his work at the New Life Slavic American Partnership Clinic in Portland, OR. Fluent in both Russian and English, he ensures a personalized, comfortable experience for every patient from consultation through treatment.
Sonya Grishkevich
Administrator Assistant
Sonya Grishkevich brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as Administrator Assistant at VIP Medispa. A graduate of Medical School in Moscow, Russia (Class of 1995), Sonya has a strong foundation in medical science and patient care. Her passion for aesthetics led her to become a Licensed Aesthetician in 2005.
In 2006, Sonya played an integral role in helping Dr. Max Grishkevich, MD, establish VIP Medispa. She oversees daily operations, supporting both staff and clients, and ensuring every guest experiences the highest level of care and professionalism. Sonya’s medical background, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence continue to make her a cornerstone of the practice.
Outside of work, Sonya enjoys skiing, relaxing at the beach, and has a special love for pugs.
Dr. Jen
MD
Dr. Jenifer is a licensed Naturopathic Physician who brings a compassionate, personalized, and results driven approach to health and wellness at Vip MediSpa. Dr. Jenifer holds multiple certifications, including Functional Medicine, Blood Chemistry Analysis, PRP Therapy, Hormone Therapy, Hair Loss, and Weight Loss Management. Her philosophy is simple: start where you are and make 10% better choices as you master each step. Her integrative approach allows her to tailor every treatment plan to meet patients where they are and help them move toward where they want to be—feeling stronger, lighter, and more vibrant.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Jenifer is passionate about faith, family, friends, and four-leggeds. She is an avid supporter of dog rescues. She also enjoys all things art deco to mid-century. She spends most of her free time adding to her knowledge base, preferably with a dog on her lap.
Her favorite part of working in wellness is hearing patients say their transformation has been life changing. For Dr. Jenifer, there’s nothing more rewarding than helping people rediscover their health, confidence, and joy—so they can truly live their best life.
Dr. Nora Abbas
Naturopathic Medicine
Dr. Nora Abbas earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon, following dual bachelor’s degrees in molecular and Premedical Biology.
While completing her undergraduate degrees, she completed extensive research in cardiac gap-junction cells, an experience that later inspired her to bridge evidence-based medicine with naturopathic treatments and modalities.
Drawing from her background as a primary care physician, Dr. Abbas is deeply passionate about helping patients feel their best through healthcare education and empowerment to help them take health into their own hands to make long-lasting changes. Outside of medicine, you can find her outdoors snowboarding, hiking, surfing or helping with anything related to animals. She has a special affection for beagles (and The Beagle Freedom Project), bringing the same compassion she has for her pets into her patient care philosophy.
Michelle Griffiths
Certified Medical Assistant
Michelle has been in the Aesthetic industry now for 19 years and has been injecting for 18. Michelle has been through numerous advanced training courses with some of the best injectors in the US! She continues her education in injectables and aesthetics.
Michelle is deeply passionate about animal welfare and has a special place in her heart for cats-sharing her home with five, including a recent stray she welcomed in. With a lifelong love for animals, Michelle dreams of one day creating a cat sanctuary to provide care and comfort to those in need. Outside of her devotion to animals, she is an enthusiastic fan of 80’s Rock ‘n’ Roll, finding inspiration and joy in the music that defined an era.
Her favorite part of wellness & Aesthetics is helping people to look better and feel better about themselves! She believes this takes an all-encompassing approach from the inside out, including a healthy diet, supplements, medical grade skincare and regenerative treatments that stimulate your own collagen and elastin.
Leah Parisi
Registered Nurse
Leah has 12 years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) plus over 10 years of Emergency Department experience. She is knowledgeable in medical aesthetics, including patient consultation, facial assessment, and delivery of injectable and skin treatments for natural looking results. She is dedicated to continuing education in aesthetic medicine, advanced injection techniques, and skin rejuvenation therapies with extensive surgical experience, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care, with a focus on cosmetic and liposuction procedures.
Her passions include exploring and traveling to new cities and cultures and discovering unique restaurants and local culinary experiences. Leah enjoys weekend trips and outdoor adventures throughout the Pacific Northwest as well as exploring Portland since relocating from Austin, Texas, a little over two years ago. She loves spending quality time with her husband and our golden doodle, Willow.
Leah’s favorite thing about aesthetics and wellness is being passionate about helping patients look and feel their best. She is dedicated to forming genuine, trusting connections with patients, listening closely to their goals, and supporting their confidence and well-being. Leah believes in a holistic approach that nurtures how patients feel mentally, physically, and emotionally, and finds fulfillment in witnessing their full transformation throughout their aesthetic journey.
Katerina Vicenttin
Licensed Advanced Aesthetician
Katerina, an advanced aesthetician with a strong background in delivering personalized cosmetic treatments. She earned her esthetics and advanced aesthetics licenses in 2019.
With a passion for staying active through exercise and exploring new places, Kat enjoys cherishing time with the people she loves.
Her favorite part of working in aesthetics is building genuine connections with clients and seeing their self-esteem grow as they reach their goals together.
Paris Vandevort
Licensed Esthetician
Paris has been a Licensed Esthetician for 2 years with continuing education in Phlebotomy and Advanced Aesthetics.
Paris is passionate about traveling, spending time with family and enjoying sports like dirt biking, snowboarding and surfing.
Paris’s favorite thing about wellness and esthetics is how they both mix together perfectly. She thinks feeling good on the inside will only boost how you look on the outside!
Vika Varivoda
Licensed Esthetician
Vika is a Licensed Esthetician dedicated to helping others find joy and confidence in their skin. She earned her degree at a local Cosmetology School and has a background as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, giving her a deep understanding of skin health and inspires her caring but knowledgeable approach to skincare.
Outside of the office, Vika’s ideal day is spent surrounded by creativity and nature. She enjoys drawing, singing, playing guitar, writing music, and hiking—activities that bring her peace, joy, and balance in everyday life.
Her favorite part of the wellness world is seeing her clients leave with a radiant glow, looking and feeling their absolute best! For Vika, it’s more than just skincare—it’s about helping people feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely happy in their own skin!
Nancy Esparza
Head Surgical/Patient Care Coordinator
With over five years of experience at Vip Medispa, Nancy Esparza serves as the Head Surgical Coordinator, overseeing every aspect of the surgical and aesthetic patient experience. She is known for her exceptional attention to detail, ability to multitask efficiently, and dedication to ensuring patients feel informed and supported throughout their surgical and treatment journey.
Bilingual in both Spanish and English, Nancy bridges communication seamlessly with diverse patients and providers, helping deliver the highest standard of care. She is passionate about helping patients achieve their aesthetic and weight loss goals safely and confidently. She especially enjoys the artistry of injectable fillers and toxins and finds fulfillment in seeing patients transform both inside and out.
Outside of Vip Medispa Spa, Nancy enjoys spending time with her border collie, Daisy, and her significant other. She loves traveling in search of beautiful views and exceptional food while surrounded by close friends.
Bri Johnson
Holistic Nutritionist & Surgical/Patient Care Coordinator
Bri Johnson serves as the Surgical and Patient Care Coordinator at VIP Medispa, where she ensures every client’s experience is seamless, supported, and personalized. As a Holistic Nutritionist and Certified Skin, Face & Body Specialist, Bri has been in the aesthetic industry since 2021. She is always expanding her education as she has a passion for integrative health and beauty.
In addition to her work in aesthetics, Bri is passionate about film production and editing and works at a production company as an Assistant Director and Editor. Outside of work, she enjoys weightlifting, exploring new restaurants, and going on walks with her husband and their two Beagles.
Bri combines her technical expertise with a holistic approach to ensure each patient’s concerns are thoughtfully addressed, and their results are flawless.
